yogurt vs ice cream

what's the difference between yogurt and ice cream?

for me it is this: aside from yogurt being healthier, when you eat yogurt (even the frozen ones) every single day, there will come a point when it would feel/taste yucky after the first teaspoon. nakaka-sawa. i would like to go back to having froyo, but my taste buds and stomach won't let me. ice cream, on the other hand, oh you could have tons everyday and you'd never get tired of it.

so i was ecstatic (o ha. "ecstatic"! haha!) when i learned about Nestle Fruit Selection Yogurt Ice Cream. i tried the Strawberry one. omg. heaven! it really does taste like ice cream. but it's yogurt. like ice cream. but yogurt. best of both worlds. yum!

i think they come in mango and vanilla flavors too :) but i haven't seen single serving cups though.

pad overhaul phase 1: Success!

ok ok ok! so this is what i have been up to for the past month.

PAD OVERHAUL PHASE 1: Zen/Minimalist Living Room + Dining Room + Kitchen Part 1

which is basically divided into 7 parts:
1. be emotionally prepared to spend a huge chunk of my savings. this is probably the hardest part. it took me 2 weeks to do this. (damn. i spent that much in two months?!?! what was i thinking?! [US trip included in the computation])
2. repaint the living room, dining area & kitchen. it was baby blue before. now i want more ENERGY

3. paintings, pictures
4. change my 12 yr old aircon (maybe older)
5. a really nice television set. (this means getting cable tv too... about time, i guess. but i just have to say, destiny cable's service isn't so good.)
6. kick-ass lights

7. a cabinet/shelf for my books and magazines

(guess who's the taga-bantay ng bahay)

i still have a couple more things to get. a floor lamp, a mirror, a bamboo/japanistic divider (so i could hide all my junk in the corner) and a wall-mounted wine rack (yep, i have to get alcohol and martini glasses for this. so yes, tequilla/vodka/wine donations are appreciated HAHAH! i do have a bottle of mudshake and an empty *haha souvenir* bottle of jose cuervo already wahoo!)

thank you sooo much to my mom and her crew. sobrang thank you! you see, if i hired professional interior designers/painters/electricians/taga-buhat/whatever, i would've spent a lot more.

and my mom, she's really good at interior design. but she didn't want to design my pad because then it would be HER. she wanted the place to be ME. like the paintings. she wouldn't put those in our house, but when i showed it to her, she was like "yes, that's you." and the lights too, hindi pareho yung taste namin. mom's more into sophisticated designs, i like more slick and modern lines. but i still wanted to get her opinion and suggestions. i wouldn't be able to finish start this project without her help. thank you po mama! best birthday gift ever :)

now, i have to save again for PAD OVERHAUL PHASE 2: Bedroom (i haven't decided what the theme would be yet.) + Carribean/Beach-y Bathroom + Kitchen Part 2

yey!!
